Biography

Lawrence Watkins is a young entrepreneur and owner of Great Black Speakers Bureau, an organization dedicated to helping universities and corporations find speakers for the events that they host throughout the year. Founded in January 2007, Great Black Speakers has quickly risen and has become a premier force in the speaking industry, boasting over 200 African-American speakers and over 100 university/corporate clients.

Lawrence Watkins received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisville. He is currently continuing his education as the Rodney P. Hunt Fellow at the Johnson School of Management at Cornell University.

Confidence is one of those things that you need to have in business and one of the reasons that it's true is no one will buy from you if you aren't confident in selling.
