Biography

Giancarlo Turano is National Sales Manager at Turano Baking.

Turano Baking was founded as Campagna-Turano Bakery, Inc. in 1962 by Mariano Turano. His entrepreneurial spirit lives on in his grandchildren Joseph and Giancarlo Turano II. Since joining the family business, Joseph and Giancarlo have broadened the scope of Turano Baking Company to become a $100 million company with over 600 employees, which serves thirty-five of the top 100 National Restaurant Chains. The company commands a strong share in Chicago's competitive specialty bread market.

Giancarlo Turano is a 2001 graduate of Cornell University.

Well, like we said earlier, definitely outside experience. I spent about a year, a year and a half, out of the business.
