<p>Eliecer Palacios is the energy sector specialist at Maxim Group LLC, a boutique investment bank dedicated to growth companies. His mandate is to identify trading and investment ideas across various parts of the capital structure in the oil & gas sector (refining, drilling, exploration & production, and services). He is also responsible for covering merger arbitrage and special situations in the space. </p> <p>Previously, Eliecer took a position as an oil & gas derivatives marketer for Citigroup's energy trading group in Houston where he worked for a couple of years. After Citigroup he joined Carrelton Asset Management, a long/short equity fund dedicated to natural resources, as an energy analyst focused on oil & gas investments, also based in Houston. </p>
<p>Phillip Bell served 6 years as an officer in the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineers and 5 years as an engineer with Corning Optical Fiber, and is currently the Manager of Business Development with Corning Strategic Growth.</p> <p>Phillip Bell earned a Mechanical Engineering degree from Oregon State University in 1994. He graduated with distinction from the Johnson School in 2007, where he was actively involved with Net Impact and the Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise.</p>
<p>Jonathan Green was recruited to Widetronix in its earliest stage to lead the implementation of market strategy. With an ongoing focus on business development, he has developed partnerships with Fortune 500 customers in the defense and medical device industries. Greene began his career in clean technology at Abt Associates, a research and consulting firm, in 1996 after receiving an MS degree in Environmental Management from the University of Michigan. At Abt he analyzed emerging clean technologies and advised federal agencies regarding commercial viability. Subsequently, as Director of Real Estate Development for Vail Resorts Inc., Greene managed pre-development for a portfolio of mix-use ski resort developments with budgets exceeding $450 million. Upon receiving an MBA from Cornell University in 2004, he became the founding Executive Director of Cornell's Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise where he led the administration of the organization and cleantech initiatives. Prior to joining Widetronix, Greene founded two technology ventures based on Cornell patented technology, including commercialization of a micro-fuel cell technology, and has successfully raised more than $4 million in early stage funding since 2004.</p>
<p>After graduating from the Johnson School in 2009, Kevin Johnson joined the Acciona Energy team in Chicago as part of the Clean Tech Leadership Program. As part of his MBA, he focused on sustainable business with an emphasis on renewable energy. Before coming to the Johnson School, Kevin Johnson served as an officer in the United States Army. </p>
<p>Kevin Knight graduated from the Johnson School with an MBA in 2010. Before coming to the Johnson School, Kevin worked for two years as a Mechanical Engineer with Westinghouse Electric in their Nuclear Service Division, and then spent four years as a Consultant with Duff & Phelps, LLC in their Valuations Advisory Services practice. After graduating, Kevin joined the GE Energy Renewable Energy Leadership Program and is currently working on the wind services business.</p>
<p>Rishad Olpadwala graduated from the Johnson School in 2008 having focused on clean technology and entrepreneurship during his two years there. Rishad joined the Acciona energy team in Chicago immediately after graduating and has worked on a number of aspects of renewable energy projects. He is currently working on the financing side of these projects.</p>
<p>Ryan Legg came to the Johnson School with an interest in entrepreneurship and the clean technology industry. Prior to joining the MBA program, he worked as a program manager at the Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise to build programs to help companies assess and capitalize on new market opportunities in renewable energy. His experience includes providing recommendations for investment in biomass energy, and a competitive analysis of the carbon markets for emissions certification and trading. After graduating in May 2010, Ryan joined the GE energy team as part of the Renewable Energy Leadership Program and is currently working on their wind energy business.</p>

He is the current Group Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of the Equity Group Holdings Limited, the banking conglomerate with the largest customer base on the African continent, in excess of 8 million as of 2014.
