Biography

John C. Metz is founder of RREMC, Ltd. The company consists of four groups - a restaurant group, a hotel group, a healthcare group, and a real estate group. The restaurant group consists of 24 Denny's restaurants and 8 Bennigan's restaurants and has over 1000 employees. The hotel group consists of a Marriott Fairfield and a Hilton. The healthcare group includes 11 properties with 1 SNIF (Skilled Nursing Facility)and 10 ALFs (Assisted Living Facilities) and about 350 employees. The real estate group includes 27 restaurant properties and 8 retail properties.

During this lecture to a class at Cornell University, Metz discusses his background in entrepreneurial activities and shares thoughts on specific qualities to develop to be a successful businessperson.

John Metz received his undergraduate degree and MBA from Cornell University.
